Will providing CPR bring someone back to life
Providing CPR circulates oxygenated blood to brain as without it our brain function diminishes dramatically in a matter of minutes. Giving CPR buys time for a defibrillator to arrive to give the heart an electric shock to stop it fibrillating and the brain to restart the heart.
I'm worried I won't know what to do in an emergency
Everyone is! but undertaking the training and the refresher training provides not only the skills but the competence to use them. It would be nice to be prepared for every situation but let's be realistic - having the basic knowledge of what needs to be done and how we could do it, could save a life.....Awesomeness takes practice as they say.
Are there group discounts available?
Of course we can provide better pricing for groups so just contact us to discuss.
Can you deliver these courses in our workplace?
Yes, we can work with you and your business needs to assist as best we can. Some courses can be split of different days or weeks depending on the needs so please feel free to discuss these needs. As an example; many schools we train prefer split courses to get CPR done one week and those requiring first aid participate the following week.
How long does it take to get my Statement of Attainment (certificate)
In most cases we can provide these within 2-3 business days or sometimes less. if it's urgent then just let us know - many people are unable to work if they don't have their CPR or First Aid qualification current and some work-sites require current Low Voltage Rescue qualifications or they can't enter the site. Contact us and we will do our best to assist.
What is a USI number and why do I need one?
The Australian Government requires us to have, and provide, a Unique Student Identifying (USI) number for Vocational Education Training. The number is easy to obtain and only takes a few minutes by visiting www.usi.gov.au website and follow the relevant instructions.
